There is always a million things people want to change for their New Year Resolution and that certainly applies to Me as well!!! But, how many people really stick to their resolutions? I, in general am another being whom is terrible in sticking to my resolutions and am always trying to take short cuts. But I foresee that 2016 is going to be a bit different and I am going to reach my goals. So let’s check out my resolutions I have planned, and maybe some inspiration for you as well!

  1. More COLOURS in my diet

Yes, I mean more different varieties of fruit and veggies to my diet instead of the everyday white and brown Carbs! Fruit and Veggies are not only good for your health in general, they play a key role in having glowing, radiant skin. They contain many nutrients and powerful antioxidants that will make your skin glow from the inside out and not to mention work a whole lot better as well! Did you know that fruit and veggies contain a high percentage of water? Which help with hydration of all your body systems including your skin.

  1. Stepping up my skincare routine with some NEW TOOLS

As a beauty therapist, I do consume a lot of skincare and have an excellent skincare routine. However, my skin is always thirsty for more and more. So, to further improve my skin my plan is to add a derma roller to my skincare routine. You’re probably wondering, what is this Derma Roller? Well, it is an amazing device that not only will help further penetrate serums and products into deeper layers of the skin, it also plays an important role in assisting in the increased appearance of a more refreshed, revived and awakened complexion. This is what everyone really needs!

  1. Slip SLOP slap seek slide

Australia’s sun burns my skin! And me being the sometimes not so proactive type never reapplies sunscreen after the daily morning routine. Having sunscreen in products such a ‘BB cream’ itself is just not enough to protect our skin. So my goal is to carry a small size, good quality, broad spectrum sun screen in my handbag and reapply every 2 hours when going outdoors all year round!

  1. Drink more WATER

Most people in Australia are dehydrated and this is mainly due to the weather, use of air con and heaters and over intake of coffee, alcohol and soft drinks. Drinking enough water is another example that is similar to eating more fruit and veggies daily, which will make a change in the health of our body and skin, from the inside out!

And most importantly, I hope you all have a fantastic 2016!
